Everything you need to know about Elopement Buddy Academy

Do I need to be shooting elopements already?

Not necessarily elopements specifically, but you should have experience shooting weddings or similar events. This programme focuses on building a business, not learning how to use a camera. If you’re a complete beginner to wedding/elopement photography, this isn’t the right fit yet.

What if I’m based outside the UK?

No problem. All sessions are conducted via video call, and the strategies we teach (pricing, marketing, operations) are applicable globally. The only difference is you’ll adapt tactics to your local market.

How long does the programme last?

The core programme runs over 6-8 weeks with 4 total sessions (initial review + 3 mentorship sessions). You’ll also have 30 days of email support for ongoing questions and feedback between sessions, plus a portfolio review after your first EB-managed elopement.

Is there a payment plan available?

Currently, we only accept payment in full (£2,995). This ensures you’re fully committed from day one. If this is a financial stretch, we’d recommend waiting until you’re in a stronger position to invest—this will also indicate you’re ready to scale.

What if I don’t get accepted?

We’re selective because we want to work with photographers who are genuinely ready to build a serious business. If we don’t think the programme is the right fit for you right now, we’ll tell you why and suggest what to work on before reapplying in a future cohort.

Do I need to use Elopement Buddy to participate?

Yes. Part of the programme includes learning the operational systems we use to run our own six-figure business—and Elopement Buddy is central to that. You’ll get 12 months of Elopement Buddy Pro included (£588 value), so there’s no additional cost. By the end, you’ll have a fully operational command centre for your elopement business.

What results can I expect?

We don’t guarantee income. What we do guarantee is that you’ll learn the exact strategies, systems, and processes we use to run a six-figure elopement business. Results depend entirely on your implementation. If you do the work, you’ll see the impact.

Can I get a refund if it’s not right for me?

No refunds. This is a high-touch, personalized programme with limited spots. We’re investing significant time into your success, and we expect the same commitment from you. That’s why we have an application process—to ensure mutual fit before we begin.
